5. Main Hall

One problem with The Main Hall is that it is frequently used as a corridor, disrupting lessons. One possibility would be to make a dog- legged connection to an existing corridor & relocate WCs/ storage/ plant.

The existing store cupboard doors could be partially or fully glazed (toughened glass, of course), or filled in with stud-work.

The most ambitious single proposal- to extend the hipped roof into the existing courtyard for much needed space, repeating the module & structure of the existing.
